Turner Wyatt (Denver Food Rescue), Tracy Pineda (Growhaus), Mary Grace Blowers (Project Angel Heart)

Description:
Members will meet various organizations in the Denver food community and learn more about how to volunteer and participate with them, as well as refer their patients/the community to their program1

Objectives:
• Identify 3 separate community resources for food and nutrition in the Denver Metro area
• Discuss issues around food insecurity in the community and the best solutions for this
• Identify how RDs can be involved, and how the organization can benefit patients or individuals in the community

Agenda:
6:00 pm – Registration, Networking, Dinner
6:30 pm – Welcome, Announcements, and Introduction
6:45 pm – 20 minute presentation from each organization (total 1 hour)
7:45 pm – Question and Answer
8:00 pm – Meeting Adjourned
